Justin King, founder & principal
Justin King has been a leading entrepreneur in Portland, Oregon for over 20 years and has created, scaled and sold several well-known local and national brands.
After the sale of his first business, Veggielicious Foods, Justin went on to pioneer the barbering industry in Portland, establishing Rooks Barbershops,
a popular chain of barbershops across Oregon, which he sold in 2020. He has owned and operated multiple award-winning restaurants, including Luchador and Blackheart, served as Chief Operating Officer for a bio-plastics company, co-founded a tattoo studio and a community DIY motorcyle shop and has worked with countless non-profit groups to raise money for social justice and equality.
Justin is best known as the founder and owner of Ben & Esther's, with 5 locations in Oregon, Washington and California, and co-owner of Mama Dut Foods.
Figg Capital is Justin's investment and holdings company dedicated to ethical investing and fair, sustainable business practices.
